Chapter 1

1:1Now YHWH called Moses, and spoke to him out of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, saying,
1:2Speak to the children of Israel, and you shall say to them, If any of you offer a sacrifice to YHWH, you shall offer your sacrifice of livestock, as of cattle and of the sheep.
1:3If his sacrifice be a burnt offering of the herd, he shall offer a male without blemish, presenting him of his own voluntary will at the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation before YHWH.
1:4And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering, and it shall be accepted to the Lord, to be his atonement.
1:5And he shall kill the bullock before YHWH,and the Priests Aaron's sons shall offer the blood, and shall sprinkle it round about upon the altar, that is by the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
1:6Then shall he fley the burnt offering, and cut it in pieces.
1:7So the sons of Aaron the Priest shall put fire upon the altar, and lay the wood in order upon the fire.
1:8Then the Priests Aaron's sons shall lay the parts in order, the head and the caul upon the wood that is in the fire which is upon the altar.
1:9But the inwards of it and the legs of it he shall wash in water, and the Priest shall burn all on the altar: for it is a burnt offering, an oblation made by fire, for a sweet savor to YHWH.
1:10And if his sacrifice for the burnt offering be of the flocks (as of the sheep, or of the goats) he shall offer a male without blemish,
1:11And he shall kill it on the Side of the altar before YHWH,and the Priests Aaron's sons shall sprinkle the blood of it round about upon the altar.
1:12And he shall cut it in pieces, separating his head and his caul, and the Priest shall lay them in order upon the wood that lies in the fire which is on the altar:
1:13But he shall wash the inwards, and the legs with water, and the Priest shall offer the whole and burn it upon the altar:for it is a burnt offering, an oblation made by fire for a sweet savor to YHWH.
1:14And if his sacrifice be a burnt offering to YHWH of the fowls, then he shall offer his sacrifice of the turtle doves, or of the young pigeons.
1:15And the Priest shall bring it to the altar, and wring the neck of it asunder, and burn it on the altar:and its blood shall be shed upon the side of the altar.
1:16And he shall pluck out its crop with its feathers, and cast them beside the altar on the East part in the place of the ashes.
1:17And he shall cleave it with his wings, but not divide it asunder:and the Priest shall burn it upon the altar upon the wood that is in the fire:for it is a burnt offering, an oblation made by fire for a sweet savor to YHWH.

Chapter 2

2:1And when a nephesh will offer a grain offering to YHWH, his offering shall be of fine flour, and he shall pour oil upon it,and put incense on it,
2:2And shall bring it to Aaron's sons the Priests, and he shall take from there his handful of the flour, and of the oil with all the incense, and the Priest shall burn it for a memorial upon the altar:for it is an offering made by fire for a sweet savor to YHWH.
2:3But the remnant of the grain offering shall be Aaron's and his sons:for it is most holy of YHWH's offerings made by fire.
2:4If you bring also a grain offering baked in the oven, it shall be an unleavened cake of fine flour mingled with oil, or an unleavened wafer anointed with oil.
2:5But if your grain offering be an oblation of the frying pan, it shall be of fine flour unleavened, mingled with oil.
2:6And you shall part it in pieces, and pour oil on it:for it is a grain offering.
2:7And if your grain offering be an oblation made in the pan, it shall be made of fine flour with oil.
2:8After, you shall bring the grain offering (that is made of these things) to YHWH,and shall present it to the Priest, and he shall bring it to the altar,
2:9And the Priest shall take from the grain offering a memorial of it,and shall burn it upon the altar:for it is an oblation made by fire for a sweet savor to YHWH.
2:10But that which is left of the grain offering, shall be Aaron's and his sons:for it is most holy of the offerings of YHWH made by fire.
2:11All the grain offerings which you shall offer to YHWH, shall be made without leaven:for you shall neither burn leaven nor honey in any offering of YHWH made by fire.
2:12In the oblation of the first fruits you shall offer them to YHWH,but they shall not be burnt upon the altar for a sweet savor.
2:13(All the grain offerings also shall you season with salt, neither shall you suffer the salt of the covenant of your Elohim to be lacking from your grain offering, but upon all your oblations you shall offer salt)
2:14If then you offer a grain offering of your first fruits to YHWH, you shall offer for your grain offering of your first fruits ears of grain dried by the fire, and wheat beaten out of the green ears.
2:15After, you shall put oil upon it,and lay incense on it:for it is a grain offering.
2:16And the Priest shall burn the memorial of it, even of that that is beaten, and of the oil of it, with all the incense of it:for it is an offering to YHWH made by fire.

Chapter 3

3:1Also if his oblation be a peace offering, if he will offer of the drove (whether it be male or female) he shall offer such as is without blemish, before YHWH,
3:2And shall put his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation:and Aaron's sons the Priests shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.
3:3So he shall offer part of the peace offerings as a sacrifice made by fire to YHWH, even the fat that covers the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards.
3:4He shall also take away the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, and upon the flanks, and the caul on the liver with the kidneys.
3:5And Aaron's sons shall burn it on the altar, with the burnt offering, which is upon the wood, that is on the fire:this is a sacrifice made by fire for a sweet savor to YHWH.
3:6Also if his oblation be a peace offering to YHWH out of the flock, whether it be male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.
3:7If he offer a lamb for his oblation, then he shall bring it before YHWH,
3:8And lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and shall kill it before the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and Aaron's sons shall sprinkle the blood of it round about upon the altar.
3:9After, of the peace offerings he shall offer an offering made by fire to YHWH:he shall take away the fat of it,and the rump altogether, hard by the back bone, and the fat that covers the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards.
3:10Also he shall take away the two kidneys, with the fat that is upon them, and upon the flanks, and the caul upon the liver with the kidneys.
3:11Then the Priest shall burn it upon the altar, as the meat of an offering made by fire to YHWH.
3:12Also if his offering be a goat, then shall he offer it before YHWH,
3:13And shall put his hand upon the head of it,and kill it before the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle the blood of it upon the altar round about.
3:14Then he shall offer of it his offering, even an offering made by fire to YHWH, the fat that covers the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards.
3:15Also he shall take away the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and upon the flanks, and the caul upon the liver with the kidneys.
3:16So the Priest shall burn them upon the altar, as the meat of an offering made by fire for a sweet savor:all the fat is YHWH's.
3:17This shall be a perpetual ordinance for your generations, throughout all your dwellings, so that you shall eat neither fat nor blood.

Chapter 4

4:1Moreover YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
4:2Speak to the children of Israel, saying, If a nephesh shall sin through ignorance, in any of the commandments of YHWH, (which ought not to be done) but shall do contrary to any of them,
4:3If the Priest that is anointed do sin (according to the sin of the people) then shall he offer, for his sin which he has sinned, a young bullock without blemish to YHWH for a sin offering,
4:4And he shall bring the bullock to the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation before YHWH,and shall put his hand upon the bullocks head, and kill the bullock before YHWH.
4:5And the Priest that is anointed shall take of the bullocks blood, and bring it into the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
4:6Then the Priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before YHWH, before the veil of the Sanctuary.
4:7The Priest also shall put some of the blood before YHWH, upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense, which is in the Tabernacle of the Congregation, then shall he pour all the rest of the blood of the bullock at the foot of the altar of burnt offering, which is at the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
4:8And he shall take away all the fat of the bullock for the sin offering:namely, the fat that covers the inwards, and all the fat that is about the inwards.
4:9He shall take away also the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and upon the flanks, and the caul upon the liver with the kidneys,
4:10As it was taken away from the bullock of the peace offerings, and the Priest shall burn them upon the altar of burnt offering.
4:11But the skin of the bullock, and all his flesh, with his head, and his legs, and his inwards, and his dung shall he bear out.
4:12So he shall carry the whole bullock out of the host to a clean place, where the ashes are poured, and shall burn him on the wood in the fire:where the ashes are cast out, shall he be burnt.
4:13And if the whole Congregation of Israel shall sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the multitude, and have done against any of the commandments of YHWH who should not be done, and have offended:
4:14When the sin which they have committed shall be known, then the Congregation shall offer a young bullock for the sin,and bring him before the Tabernacle of the Congregation,
4:15And the Elders of the Congregation shall put their hands upon the head of the bullock before YHWH,and he shall kill the bullock before YHWH.
4:16Then the Priest that is anointed, shall bring of the bullocks blood into the Tabernacle of the Congregation,
4:17And the Priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before YHWH, even before the veil.
4:18Also he shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar, which is before YHWH,that is in the Tabernacle of the Congregation:then shall he pour all the rest, of the blood at the foot of the altar of burnt offering, which is at the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation,
4:19And he shall take all his fat from him,and burn it upon the altar.
4:20And the Priest shall do with this bullock, as he did with the bullock for his sin:so shall he do with this:so the Priest shall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them.
4:21For he shall carry the bullock without the host, and burn him as he burned the first bullock:for it is an offering for the sin of the Congregation.
4:22When a ruler shall sin,and do through ignorance against any of the commandments of YHWH his Elohim, who should not be done, and shall offend,
4:23If his sin, which he has committed, is made known to him, then shall he bring for his offering a he goat without blemish,
4:24And shall lay his hand upon the head of the he goat, and kill it in the place where he should kill the burnt offering before YHWH:for it is a sin offering.
4:25Then the Priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the burnt offering altar, and shall pour the rest of his blood at the foot of the burnt offering altar,
4:26And shall burn all his fat upon the altar, as the fat of the peace offering:so the Priest shall make an atonement for him, concerning his sin,and it shall be forgiven him.
4:27Likewise if a nephesh of the people of the land shall sin through ignorance in doing against any of the commandments of YHWH, who should not be done, and shall offend,
4:28If his sin which he has committed is made known to him, then he shall bring for his offering, a she goat without blemish for his sin which he has committed,
4:29And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay the sin offering in the place of burnt offering.
4:30Then the Priest shall take of the blood of it with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the burnt offering altar, and pour all the rest of the blood of it at the foot of the altar,
4:31And shall take away all his fat, as the fat of the peace offerings is taken away, and the Priest shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savor to YHWH,and the Priest shall make an atonement for him,and it shall be forgiven him.
4:32And if he bring a lamb for his sin offering, he shall bring a female without blemish,
4:33And shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and he shall slay it for a sin offering in the place where he should kill the burnt offering.
4:34Then the Priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the burnt offering altar, and shall pour out all the rest of its blood at the foot of the altar.
4:35And he shall take away all the fat of it, as the fat of the lamb of the peace offerings is taken away:then the Priest shall burn it upon the altar with the oblations of YHWH made by fire, and the Priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin that he has committed, and it shall be forgiven him.

Chapter 5

5:1Also if a nephesh have sinned, that is, If he have heard the voice of an oath, and he can be a witness, whether he has seen or known of it, if he do not utter it, he shall bear his iniquity:
5:2Either if a nephesh touch any unclean thing, whether it be a creeping of an unclean beast, or a creeping of unclean cattle, or a creeping of unclean creeping things, and is not ware of it, yet he is unclean, and has offended:
5:3Either if he touch any uncleanness of man (whatever uncleanness it be,that he is defiled with) and is not aware of it,and afterward comes to know it, he has sinned:
5:4Either if a nephesh swear and pronounce with his lips to do evil, or to do good (whatever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath) and it be hid from him,and after knows that he is guilty in one of these,
5:5When he has sinned in any of these things, then he shall confess that he has sinned in it.
5:6Therefore shall he bring his trespass offering to YHWH for his sin which he has committed, even a female from the flock, be it a lamb or a she goat for a sin offering, and the Priest shall make an atonement for him, concerning his sin.
5:7But if he be not able to bring a sheep, he shall bring for his trespass which he has committed, two turtle doves, or two young pigeons to YHWH, one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering.
5:8So he shall bring them to the Priest, who shall offer the sin offering first, and wring the neck of it asunder, but not pluck it clean off.
5:9After he shall sprinkle some of the blood of the sin offering upon the side of the altar, and the rest of the blood shall be shed at the foot of the altar:for it is a sin offering.
5:10Also he shall offer the second for a burnt offering as the manner is:so shall the Priest make an atonement for him (for his sin which he has committed) and it shall be forgiven him.
5:11But if he be not able to bring two turtle doves, or two young pigeons, then he that has sinned, shall bring for his offering, the tenth part of an Ephah of fine flour for a sin offering, he shall put none oil thereto, neither put any incense on it:for it is a sin offering.
5:12Then shall he bring it to the Priest, and the Priest shall take his handful of it for the remembrance of it, and burn it upon the altar with the offerings of YHWH made by fire: for it is a sin offering.
5:13So the Priest shall make an atonement for him, as touching his sin that he has committed in one of these, and it shall be forgiven him:and the remnant shall be the Priests, as the grain offering.
5:14And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
5:15If any nephesh transgress and sin through ignorance by taking away things consecrated to YHWH, he shall then bring for his trespass offering to YHWH a ram without blemish out of the flock, worth two shekels of silver by your estimation after the shekel of the Sanctuary, for a trespass offering.
5:16So he shall restore that in which he has sinned, in taking away of the holy thing, and shall put the fifth part more thereto, and give it to the Priest:so the Priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and it shall be forgiven him.
5:17Also if a nephesh sin and do against any of the commandments of YHWH, who ought not to be done, and does not know, then he is guilty and bears his iniquity,
5:18Then shall he bring a ram without blemish out of the flock, in your estimation worth two shekels for a trespass offering to the Priest: and the Priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his ignorance in which he erred, and was not aware: so it shall be forgiven him.
5:19This is the trespass offering for the trespass committed against YHWH.
5:20And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
5:21if a nephesh sin and commit a trespass against YHWH,and deny to his neighbor that, which was take him to keep, or that which was put to him of trust, or does by robbery, or by violence oppress his neighbor,
5:22Or has found that which was lost, and denies it, and swears falsely, for any of these things that a man does, in which he sins:
5:23When, I say, he thus sins and trespasses, he shall then restore the robbery that he robbed, or the thing taken by violence which he took by force, or the thing which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing which he found,
5:24Or for whatever he has sworn falsely, he shall both restore it in the whole sum,and shall add the fifth part more thereto, and give it to him to whom pertains, the same day that he offers for trespass.
5:25Also he shall bring for his trespass to YHWH, a ram without blemish out of the flock in your estimation worth two shekels for a trespass offering to the Priest.
5:26And the Priest shall make an atonement for him before YHWH, and it shall be forgiven him, whatever thing he has done, and trespassed in it.
6:1Then YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
6:2Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering, (it is the burnt offering because it burns upon the altar all the night to the morning, and the fire burns on the altar)
6:3And the Priest shall put on his linen garment, and shall put on his linen undergarments upon his flesh, and take away the ashes when the fire has consumed the burnt offering upon the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.
6:4After, he shall put off his garments, and put on other clothing, and carry the ashes forth without the host to a clean place.
6:5But the fire upon the altar shall burn on it and never be put out: therefore the Priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it, and he shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings.
6:6The fire shall ever burn upon the altar, and never go out.
6:7Also this is the law of the grain offering, which Aaron sons shall offer in the presence of YHWH, before the altar.
6:8He shall even take from there his handful of fine flour of the grain offering and of the oil,and all the incense which is upon the grain offering, and shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savor, as a memorial therefore to YHWH:
6:9But the rest of it shall Aaron and his sons eat: it shall be eaten without leaven in the holy place: in the court of the Tabernacle of the Congregation they shall eat it.
6:10It shall not be baked with leaven: I have given it for their portion of my offerings made by fire: for it is most holy, as the sin offering and as the trespass offering.
6:11All the males among the children of Aaron shall eat of it:It shall be a statute forever in your generations concerning the offerings of YHWH, made by fire:whatever touches them shall be holy.
6:12Again YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
6:13This is the offering of Aaron and his sons, who they shall offer to YHWH in the day when he is anointed: the tenth part of an Ephah of fine flour, for a grain offering perpetual: half of it in the morning, and half of it at night.
6:14In the frying pan it shall be made with oil:you shall bring it fried, and shall offer the baked pieces of the grain offering for a sweet savor to YHWH.
6:15And the Priest that is anointed in his stead, among his sons shall offer it:It is YHWH's ordinance forever, it shall be burnt altogether.
6:16For every grain offering of the Priest shall be burnt altogether, it shall not be eaten.
6:17Furthermore, YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
6:18Speak to Aaron, and to his sons, and say, This is the Law of the sin offering, In the place where the burnt offering is killed, shall the sin offering be killed before YHWH,for it is most holy.
6:19The Priest that offers this sin offering, shall eat it:in the holy place shall it be eaten, in the court of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
6:20Whatever shall touch the flesh of it shall be holy: and when there drops of the blood of it upon a garment, you shall wash that on which it drops in the holy place.
6:21Also the earthen pot that it is boiled in, shall be broken, but if it be boiled in a brass pot, it shall both be scoured and washed with water.
6:22All the males among the Priests shall eat of it,for it is most holy.
6:23But no sin offering, whose blood is brought into the Tabernacle of the Congregation to make reconciliation in the holy place, shall be eaten, but shall be burnt in the fire.

Chapter 7

7:1Likewise this is the law of the trespass offering, it is most holy.
7:2In the place where they kill the burnt offering, shall they kill the trespass offering, and he shall sprinkle its blood round about upon the altar.
7:3All the fat of it also shall he offer, the rump, and the fat that covers the inwards.
7:4After he shall take away the two kidneys, with the fat that is on them and upon the flanks, and the caul on the liver with the kidneys.
7:5Then the Priest shall burn them upon the altar, for an offering made by fire to YHWH:this is a trespass offering.
7:6All the males among the Priests shall eat of it, it shall be eaten in the holy place, for it is most holy.
7:7As the sin offering is, so is the trespass offering, one law serves for both: that with which the Priest shall make atonement, shall be his.
7:8Also the Priest that offers any man's burnt offering, shall have the skin of the burnt offering which he has offered.
7:9And all the grain offering that is baked in the oven, and that is dressed in the pan,and in the frying pan, shall be the Priests that offers it.
7:10And every grain offering mingled with oil,and that is dry, shall pertain to all the sons of Aaron, to all alike.
7:11Furthermore, this is the law of the peace offerings, which he shall offer to YHWH.
7:12If he offer it to give thanks, then he shall offer for his thanks offering, unleavened cakes mingled with oil,and unleavened wafers anointed with oil,and fine flour fried with the cakes mingled with oil.
7:13He shall offer also his offering with cakes of leavened bread, for his peace offerings, to give thanks.
7:14And of all the sacrifice he shall offer one cake for a heave offering to YHWH,and it shall be the Priests that sprinkles the blood of the peace offerings.
7:15Also the flesh of his peace offerings, for thanksgiving, shall be eaten the same day that it is offered: he shall leave nothing of it until the morning.
7:16But if the sacrifice of his offering be a vow, or a free offering, it shall be eaten the same day that he offers his sacrifice: and so in the morning the residue of it shall be eaten.
7:17But as much of the offered flesh as remains to the third day, shall be burnt with fire.
7:18For if any of the flesh of his peace offerings be eaten in the third day, he shall not be accepted that offers it,neither shall it be reckoned to him,but shall be an abomination:therefore the nephesh that eats of it shall bear his iniquity.
7:19The flesh also that touches any unclean thing, shall not be eaten, but burnt with fire:but of this flesh all that be clean shall eat of it.
7:20But if a nephesh eat of the flesh of the peace offerings that pertains to YHWH, having his uncleanness upon him, even the same nephesh shall be cut off from his people.
7:21Moreover, when a nephesh touches any unclean thing, as the uncleanness of man, or of an unclean beast, or of any filthy abomination, and eat of the flesh of the peace offerings, which pertains to YHWH, even that nephesh shall be cut off from his people.
7:22Again YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
7:23Speak to the children of Israel, and say, You shall eat no fat of oxen, nor of sheep, nor of goats:
7:24Yet the fat of the dead beast, and the fat of that, which is torn with beasts, shall be occupied to any use,but you shall not eat of it.
7:25For whoever eats the fat of the beast, of the which he shall offer an offering made by fire to YHWH, even the nephesh that eats, shall be cut off from his people.
7:26Neither shall you eat any blood, either of fowl, or of beast in all your dwellings.
7:27Every nephesh that eats any blood, even the same nephesh shall be cut off from his people.
7:28And YHWH talked with Moses, saying,
7:29Speak to the children of Israel, and say, He that offers his peace offerings to YHWH, shall bring his gift to YHWH of his peace offerings:
7:30His hands shall bring the offerings of YHWH made by fire:even the fat with the breast shall he bring, that the breast may be shaken to and fro before YHWH.
7:31Then the Priest shall burn the fat upon the Altar, and the breast shall be Aaron's and his sons.
7:32And the right shoulder shall you give to the Priest for a heave offering, of your peace offerings.
7:33The same that offers the blood of the peace offerings, and the fat, among the sons of Aaron, shall have the right shoulder for his part.
7:34For the breast shaken to and fro,and the shoulder lifted up, have I taken of the children of Israel, even of their peace offerings, and have given them to Aaron the Priest and to his sons by a statute forever from among the children of Israel.
7:35This is the anointing of Aaron, and the anointing of his sons, concerning the offerings of YHWH made by fire, in the day when he presented them to serve in the Priests office to YHWH.
7:36The which portions YHWH commanded to give them in the day that he anointed them from among the children of Israel, by a statute forever in their generations.
7:37This is also the law of the burnt offering of the grain offering, and of the sin offering, and of the trespass offering, and of the consecrations, and of the peace offerings,
7:38Which YHWH commanded Moses in the mount Sinai, when he commanded the children of Israel to offer their gifts to YHWH in the wilderness of Sinai.

Chapter 8

8:1Afterward YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
8:2Take Aaron and his sons with him,and the garments and the anointing oil,and a bullock for the sin offering, and two rams, and a basket of unleavened bread,
8:3And assemble all the company at the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
8:4So Moses did as YHWH had commanded him,and the company was assembled at the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
8:5Then Moses said to the company, This is the thing which YHWH has commanded to do.
8:6And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water,
8:7And put upon him the coat, and fastened him with a sash, and clothed him with the robe, and put the Ephod on him, which he fastened with the skillfully woven band of the Ephod, and bound it to him with it.
8:8After he put the breast plate on it, and put in the breast plate the Urim and the Thummim.
8:9Also he put the turban upon his head, and put upon the turban on the front the golden plate, and the holy crown, as YHWH had commanded Moses.
8:10(Now Moses had taken the anointing oil, and anointed the Tabernacle, and all that was in it, and sanctified them,
8:11And sprinkled of it upon the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all his instruments, and the laver, and his foot, to sanctify them)
8:12And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron's head, and anointed him, to sanctify him.
8:13After, Moses brought Aaron's sons, and put coats upon them, and fastened them with sashes, and put caps upon their heads, as YHWH had commanded Moses.
8:14Then he brought the bullock for the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons put their hands upon the head of the bullock for the sin offering.
8:15And Moses slew him,and took the blood, which he put upon the horns of the Altar around about with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured the rest of the blood at the foot of the altar:so he sanctified it, to make reconciliation upon it.
8:16Then he took all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the caul of the liver and the two kidneys, with their fat, which Moses burned upon the Altar.
8:17But the bullock and his hide, and his flesh, and his dung, he burnt with fire without the host as YHWH had commanded Moses.
8:18Also he brought the ram for the burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons put their hands upon the head of the ram.
8:19So Moses killed it,and sprinkled the blood upon the Altar round about,
8:20And Moses cut the ram in pieces, and burnt the head with the pieces, and the fat,
8:21And washed the inwards and the legs in water:so Moses burnt the ram every whit upon the altar:for it was a burnt offering for a sweet savor, which was made by fire to YHWH, as YHWH had commanded Moses.
8:22After, he brought the other ram, the ram of consecrations, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram,
8:23Which Moses slew, and took of the blood of it,and put it upon the lobe of Aaron's right ear,and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot.
8:24Then Moses brought Aaron's sons, and put of the blood on the lobe of their right ears, and upon the thumbs of their right hands, and upon the great toes of their right feet, and Moses sprinkled the rest of the blood upon the Altar round about.
8:25And he took the fat and the rump and all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the caul of the liver, and the two kidneys with their fat,and the right shoulder.
8:26Also he took of the basket of the unleavened bread that was before YHWH, one unleavened cake and a cake of oiled bread, and one wafer, and put them on the fat,and upon the right shoulder.
8:27So he put all in Aaron's hands, and in his sons hands, and shook it to and fro before YHWH.
8:28After, Moses took them out of their hands, and burnt them upon the altar for a burnt offering:for these were consecrations for a sweet savor which were made by fire to YHWH.
8:29Likewise Moses took the breast of the ram of consecrations, and shook it to and fro before YHWH:for it was Moses portion, as YHWH had commanded Moses.
8:30Also Moses took of the anointing oil,and of the blood which was upon the Altar, and sprinkled it upon Aaron, upon his garments, and upon his sons, and on his sons' garments with him:so he sanctified Aaron, his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.
8:31Afterward Moses said to Aaron and his sons, Boil the flesh at the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and there eat it with the bread that is in the basket of consecrations, as I commanded, saying, Aaron and his sons shall eat it,
8:32But that which remains of the flesh and of the bread, shall you burn with fire.
8:33And you shall not depart from the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation seven days, until the days of your consecrations be at an end:for seven days, said the Lord, shall he consecrate you,
8:34As he has done this day:so YHWH has commanded to do, to make an atonement for you.
8:35Therefore shall you abide at the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation day and night, seven days, and shall keep the watch of YHWH,that you die not:for so I am commanded.
8:36So Aaron and his sons did all things which YHWH had commanded by the hand of Moses.

Chapter 9

9:1And in the eighth day Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the Elders of Israel:
9:2Then he said to Aaron, Take a young calf for yourself for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, both without blemish, and bring them before YHWH.
9:3And to the children of Israel you shall speak, saying, Take a he-goat for a sin offering, and a calf, and a lamb, both of a year old, without blemish for a burnt offering:
9:4Also a bullock, and a ram for peace offerings, to offer before YHWH,and a grain offering mingled with oil:for today YHWH will appear to you.
9:5Then they brought that which Moses commanded before the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and all the assembly drew near and stood before YHWH.
9:6(For Moses had said, This is the thing, which YHWH commanded that you should do,and the glory of YHWH shall appear to you)
9:7Then Moses said to Aaron, Draw near to the Altar, and offer your sin offering, and your burnt offering, and make an atonement for you and for the people:offer also the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them, as YHWH has commanded.
9:8Aaron therefore went to the Altar, and killed the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.
9:9And the sons of Aaron brought the blood to him,and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it upon the horns of the Altar, and poured the rest of the blood at the foot of the Altar.
9:10But the fat and the kidneys and the caul of the liver of the sin offering, he burnt upon the Altar, as YHWH had commanded Moses.
9:11The flesh also and the hide he burnt with fire without the host.
9:12After, he slew the burnt offering, and Aaron's sons brought to him the blood, which he sprinkled round about upon the Altar.
9:13Also they brought the burnt offering to him with the pieces of it,and the head, and he burnt them upon the Altar.
9:14Likewise he did wash the inwards and the legs, and burnt them upon the burnt offering on the Altar.
9:15Then he offered the peoples offering, and took a goat, which was the sin offering for the people, and slew it:and offered it for sin, as the first:
9:16So he offered the burnt offering, and prepared it, according to the manner.
9:17He presented also the grain offering, and filled his hand with it,and beside the burnt sacrifice of the morning he burnt this upon the Altar.
9:18He slew also the bullock, and the ram for the peace offerings, that was for the people, and Aaron's sons brought to him the blood, which he sprinkled upon the Altar round about,
9:19With the fat of the bullock, and of the ram, the rump, and that which covers the inwards and the kidneys, and the caul of the liver.
9:20So they laid the fat upon the breasts, and he burnt the fat upon the Altar.
9:21But the breasts and the right shoulder Aaron shook to and fro before YHWH, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
9:22So Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings.
9:23After, Moses and Aaron went into the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and came out,and blessed the people, and the glory of YHWH appeared to all the people.
9:24And there came a fire out from YHWH and consumed upon the Altar the burnt offering and the fat:which when all the people saw, they gave thanks, and fell on their faces.

Chapter 10

10:1But Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire in it, and put incense upon it, and offered strange fire before YHWH, who he had not commanded them.
10:2Therefore a fire went out from YHWH,and devoured them:so they died before YHWH.
10:3Then Moses said to Aaron, This is it that YHWH spoke, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come near me,and before all the people I will be glorified:but Aaron held his peace.
10:4And Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan the sons of Uzziel, the uncle of Aaron, and said to them, Come near, carry your brethren from before the Sanctuary out of the host.
10:5Then they went, and carried them in their coats out of the host, as Moses had carried.
10:6After, Moses said to Aaron and to Eleazar and Ithamar his sons, Uncover not your heads, neither rent your clothes, lest you die,and lest wrath come upon all the people:but let your brethren, all the house of Israel bewail the burning which YHWH has kindled.
10:7And do not go out from the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, lest you die: for the anointing oil of YHWH is upon you: and they did according to Moses' commandment.
10:8And YHWH spoke to Aaron, saying,
10:9You shall not drink wine nor strong drink, you, nor your sons with you, when you come into the Tabernacle of the Congregation, lest you die:this is an ordinance forever throughout your generations,
10:10That you may put difference between the holy and the unholy, and between the clean and the unclean,
10:11And that you may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which YHWH has commanded them by the hand of Moses.
10:12Then Moses said to Aaron and to Eleazar and to Ithamar his sons that were left, Take the grain offering that remains of the offerings of YHWH, made by fire, and eat it without leaven beside the altar:for it is most holy:
10:13And you shall eat it in the holy place, because it is your duty and your sons due of the offerings of YHWH made by fire:for so I am commanded.
10:14Also the shaken breast and the heave shoulder shall you eat in a clean place:you, and your sons, and your daughters with you:for they are given as your duty and your sons due, of the peace offerings of the children of Israel.
10:15The heave shoulder, and the shaken breast shall they bring with the offerings made by fire of the fat, to shake it to and fro before YHWH,and it shall be yours and your sons’ with you by a statute forever, as YHWH has commanded.
10:16And Moses sought the goat that was offered for sin,and lo, it was burnt:therefore he was angry with Eleazar and Ithamar the sons of Aaron, which were left alive, saying,
10:17Why have you not eaten the sin offering in the holy place, seeing it is most Holy? And God has given it you, to bear the iniquity of the Congregation, to make an atonement for them before YHWH.
10:18Behold, the blood of it was not brought within the holy place:you should have eaten it in the holy place, as I commanded.
10:19And Aaron said to Moses, Behold, this day have they offered their sin offering, and their burnt offering before YHWH,and such things as you know are come to me:If I had eaten the sin offering today, should it have been accepted in the sight of YHWH?
10:20So when Moses heard it, he was content.

Chapter 11

11:1After, YHWH spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying to them,
11:2Speak to the children of Israel, and say, These are the beasts which you shall eat, among all the beasts that are on the earth.
11:3Whatever parts the hoof, and is cloven footed, and chews the cud, among the beasts, that shall you eat.
11:4But of them that chew the cud, or divide the hoof only, of them you shall not eat:as the camel, because he chews the cud,and divides not the hoof, he shall be unclean to you.
11:5Likewise the rock hyrax, because he chews the cud and divides not the hoof, he shall be unclean to you.
11:6Also the hare, because he chews the cud,and divides not the hoof, he shall be unclean to you.
11:7And the swine, because he parts the hoof and is cloven footed, but chews not the cud, he shall be unclean to you.
11:8Of their flesh shall you not eat,and their carcass shall you not touch:for they shall be unclean to you.
11:9These shall you eat, of all that are in the waters:whatever has fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, or in the rivers, them shall you eat.
11:10But all that have not fins nor scales in the seas, or in the rivers, of all that moves in the waters, and of every living nephesh that is in the waters, they shall be an abomination to you.
11:11They, I say, shall be an abomination to you:you shall not eat of their flesh, but shall abhor their carcass.
11:12Whatever has not fins nor scales--that in the waters, that shall be abomination to you.
11:13These shall you have also in abomination among the fowls, they shall not be eaten:for they are an abomination, the eagle, and the goshawk, and the osprey:
11:14Also the vulture, and the kite after his kind,
11:15And all ravens after their kind:
11:16The ostrich also, and the night crow, and the seagull, and the hawk after his kind:
11:17The little owl also, and the cormorant, and the great owl.
11:18Also the redshank and the pelican, and the swan:
11:19The stork also, the heron after his kind, and the hoopoe, and the bat:
11:20Also every fowl that creeps and goes upon all four, such shall be an abomination to you.
11:21Yet these shall you eat:of every fowl that creeps, and goes upon all four which have jointed legs above their feet, to leap with upon the earth,
11:22Of them you shall eat these, the grasshopper after his kind, and the solean after his kind, the hargol after his kind, and the hagab after his kind.
11:23But all other fowls that creep and have four feet, they shall be abomination to you.
11:24For by such you shall be polluted:whoever touches their carcass, shall be unclean to the evening.
11:25Whoever also bears of their carcass, shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until even.
11:26Every beast that has claws divided, and is not cloven footed, nor chews the cud, such shall be unclean to you:every one that touches them, shall be unclean.
11:27And whatever goes upon his paws among all manner beasts that goes on all four, such shall be unclean to you:who so does touch their carcass shall be unclean until the even.
11:28And he that bears their carcass, shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even:for such shall be unclean to you.
11:29Also these shall be unclean to you among the things that creep and move upon the earth, the weasel, and the mouse, and the frog, after his kind:
11:30Also the rat,and the lizard,and the chameleon,and the stellio,and the mole.
11:31These shall be unclean to you among all that creep:whoever does touch them when they be dead, shall be unclean until the even.
11:32Also whatever any of the dead carcasses of them does fall upon, shall be unclean, whether it be vessel of wood, or clothing, or skin, or sack:whatever vessel it be that is occupied, it shall be put in the water as unclean until the even, and so be purified.
11:33But every earthen vessel, whereinto any of them falls, whatever is within it shall be unclean, and you shall break it.
11:34All meat also that shall be eaten, if any such water come upon it, shall be unclean:and all drink that shall be drunk in all such vessels shall be unclean.
11:35And everything that their carcass fall upon, shall be unclean:the oven or the pot shall be broken:for they are unclean, and shall be unclean to you.
11:36Yet the fountains and wells where there is plenty of water shall be clean:but that which touches their carcasses shall be unclean.
11:37And if there fall of their dead carcass upon any seed, which uses to be sow, it shall be clean.
11:38But if any water be poured upon the seed, and there fall of their dead carcass on it, it shall be unclean to you.
11:39If also any beast, of what you may eat, die, he that touches its carcass shall be unclean until the even.
11:40And he that eats of the carcass of it, shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the even:he also that bears the carcass of it, shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.
11:41Every creeping thing therefore that creeps upon the earth shall be an abomination, and not be eaten.
11:42Whatever goes upon the breast, and whatever goes upon all four, or that has many feet among all creeping things that creep upon the earth, you shall not eat of them, for they shall be abomination.
11:43You shall not pollute your nepheshes with anything that creeps, neither make your nepheshes unclean with them, neither defile yourselves by it: you shall not, I say, be defiled by them,
11:44For I am YHWH your Elohim:sanctify yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am holy, and do not defile your nepheshes with any creeping thing, that creeps upon the earth.
11:45For I am YHWH that brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your Elohim, and that you should be holy, for I am holy.
11:46This is the law of beasts, and of fowls, and of every living nephesh that moves in the waters, and of everything that creeps upon the earth:
11:47That there may be a difference between the unclean and clean, and between the beast that may be eaten, and the beast that ought not to be eaten.

Chapter 12

12:1And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
12:2Speak to the children of Israel, and say, When a woman has brought forth seed, and born a child, she shall be unclean seven days, like as she is unclean when she is put apart for her disease.
12:3(And in the eighth day, the foreskin of his flesh shall be circumcised)
12:4And she shall continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days:she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the Sanctuary, until the time of her purifying be out.
12:5But if she bear a maid child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as when she has her disease:and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying three score and six days.
12:6Now when the days of her purifying are out, (whether it be for a son or for a daughter) she shall bring to the Priest a lamb of one year old for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon or a turtle dove for a sin offering, to the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation,
12:7Who shall offer it before YHWH, and make an atonement for her: so she shall be cleansed of the issue of her blood this is the law for her that has born a male or female.
12:8But if she be not able to bring a lamb, she shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons:the one for a burnt offering, and the other for a sin offering:and the Priest shall make an atonement for her:so she shall be clean.

Chapter 13

13:1Moreover YHWH spoke to Moses, and to Aaron, saying,
13:2The man that shall have in the skin of his flesh a swelling or a scab, or a white spot, so that in the skin of his flesh it be like the plague of leprosy, then he shall be brought to Aaron the Priest, or to one of his sons the Priests,
13:3And the Priest shall look on the sore in the skin of his flesh:if the hair in the sore be turned into white, and the sore seem to be lower than the skin of his flesh, it is a plague of leprosy. Therefore the Priest shall look on him,and pronounce him unclean:
13:4But if the white spot be in the skin of his flesh, and seem not to be lower than the skin, nor the hair of it be turned to white, than the Priest shall shut up him that has the plague, seven days.
13:5After, the Priest shall look upon him the seventh day:and if the plague seem to him to abide still, and the plague grow not in the skin, the Priest shall shut him up yet seven days more.
13:6Then the Priest shall look on him again the seventh day,and if the plague be dark, and the sore grow not in the skin, then the Priest shall pronounce him clean, for it is a scab:therefore he shall wash his clothes and be clean.
13:7But if the scab grow more in the skin, after that he is seen of the Priest for to be cleansed, he shall be seen of the Priest yet again.
13:8Then the Priest shall consider, and if the scab grow in the skin, then the Priest shall pronounce him unclean:for it is leprosy.
13:9When the plague of leprosy is in a man, he shall be brought to the Priest,
13:10And the Priest shall see him:and if the swelling be white in the skin, and have made you hear white, and there be raw flesh in the swelling,
13:11It is an old leprosy in the skin of his flesh:and the Priest shall pronounce him unclean, and shall not shut him up,for he is unclean.
13:12Also if the leprosy break out in the skin, and the leprosy cover all the skin of the plague, from his head even to his feet, wherever the Priest looks,
13:13Then the Priest shall consider:and if the leprosy cover all his flesh, he shall pronounce the plague to be clean, because it is all turned into whiteness:so he shall be clean.
13:14But if there be raw flesh on him when he is seen, he shall be unclean.
13:15For the Priest shall see the raw flesh, and declare him to be unclean:for the raw flesh is unclean, therefore it is the leprosy.
13:16Or if the raw flesh change and be turned into white, then he shall come to the Priest,
13:17And the Priest shall behold him and if the sore be changed into white, then the Priest shall pronounce the plague clean, for it is clean.
13:18The flesh also in whose skin there is a boil and is healed,
13:19And in the place of the boil there be a white swelling, or a white spot somewhat reddish, it shall be seen of the Priest.
13:20And when the Priest sees it, if it appear lower than the skin, and the hair of it be changed into white, the Priest then shall pronounce him unclean:for it is a plague of leprosy, broken out in the boil.
13:21But if the Priest look on it, and there be no white hairs in it, and if it be not lower than the skin, but be darker, than the Priest shall shut him up seven days.
13:22And if it spread abroad in the flesh, the Priest shall pronounce him unclean, for it is a sore.
13:23But if the spot continue in his place, and grow not, it is a burning boil:therefore the Priest shall declare him to be clean.
13:24If there be any flesh, in whose skin there is a hot burning, and the raw flesh of the burning have a white spot, somewhat reddish or pale,
13:25Then the Priest shall look upon it:and if the hair in that spot be changed into white, and it appear lower than the skin, it is a leprosy broken out in the burning therefore the Priest shall pronounce him unclean:for it is the plague of leprosy.
13:26But if the Priest look on it,and there be no white hair in the spot, and be no lower than the other skin, but be darker, than the Priest shall shut him up seven days.
13:27After, the Priest shall look on him the seventh day:if it be grown abroad in the skin, then the Priest shall pronounce him unclean:for it is the plague of leprosy.
13:28And if the spot abide in his place, not growing in the skin, but is dark, it is a rising of the burning:the Priest shall therefore declare him clean, for it is the drying up of the burning.
13:29If also a man or woman has a sore on the head or in the beard,
13:30Then the Priest shall see his sore:and if it appear lower than the skin, and there be in it a small yellow hair, than the Priest shall pronounce him unclean:for it is a black spot, and leprosy of the head or of the beard.
13:31And if the Priest look on the sore of the black spot, and if it seem not lower than the skin, nor have any black hair in it, than the Priest shall shut up him, that has the sore of the black spot, seven days.
13:32After, in the seventh day the Priest shall look on the sore:and if the black spot grow not,and there be in it no yellow hair, and the black spot seem not lower than the skin,
13:33Then he shall be shaven, but the place of the black spot shall he not shave:but the Priest shall shut up him, that has the black spot, seven days more.
13:34And the seventh day the Priest shall look on the black spot:and if the black spot grow not in the skin, nor seem lower than the other skin, than the Priest shall cleanse him,and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.
13:35But if the black spot grow abroad in the flesh after his cleansing,
13:36Then the Priest shall look on it:and if the black spot grow in the skin, the Priest shall not seek for the yellow hair:for he is unclean.
13:37But if the black spot seem to him to abide, and that black hair grow in it, the black spot is healed, he is clean, and the Priest shall declare him to be clean.
13:38Furthermore if there be many white spots in the skin of the flesh of man or woman,
13:39Then the Priest shall consider:and if the spots in the skin of their flesh be somewhat dark and white shall, it is but a white spot broken out in the skin:therefore he is clean.
13:40And the man whose hair is fallen off his head, and is bald, is clean.
13:41And if his head lose the hair on the forepart, and be bald before, he is clean.
13:42But if there be in the bald head, or in the bald forehead a white reddish sore, it is a leprosy springing in his bald head, or in his bald forehead.
13:43Therefore the Priest shall look upon it,and if the rising of the sore be white reddish in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, appearing like leprosy in the skin of the flesh,
13:44He is a leper and unclean:therefore the Priest shall pronounce him altogether unclean:for the sore is in his head.
13:45The leper also in whom the plague is, shall have his clothes rent, and his head bare, and shall put a covering upon his lips, and shall cry, I am unclean, I am unclean.
13:46As long as the disease shall be upon him, he shall be polluted, for he is unclean:he shall dwell alone, without the camp shall his habitation be.
13:47Also the garment that the plague of leprosy is in, whether it be a woolen garment or a linen garment,
13:48Whether it be in the warp or in the woof of linen or of woolen, either in a skin, or in anything made of skin,
13:49And if the sore be green or somewhat reddish in the garment or in the skin, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything that is made of skin, it is a plague of leprosy and shall be showed to the Priest.
13:50Then the Priest shall see the plague, and shut up it that has the plague, seven days,
13:51And shall look on the plague the seventh day:if the plague grow in the garment or in the warp, or in the woof, or in the skin, or in anything that is made of skin, that plague is a fretting leprosy and unclean.
13:52And he shall burn the garment, or the warp, or the woof, whether it be woolen or linen, or anything that is made of skin, in which the plague is: for it is a fretting leprosy, therefore it shall be burnt in the fire.
13:53If the Priest yet see that the plague grow not in the garment, or in the woof, or in whatever thing of skin it be,
13:54Then the Priest shall command them to wash the thing in which the plague is, and he shall shut it up seven days more.
13:55Again the Priest shall look on the plague, after it is washed: and if the plague have not changed his color, though the plague have spread no further, it is unclean: you shall burn it in the fire, for it is a fret inward, whether the spot be in the bore place of the whole, or in part of it.
13:56And if the Priest see that the plague be darker, after that it is washed, he shall cut it out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of the woof.
13:57And if it appear still in the garment or in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything made of skin, it is a spreading leprosy: you shall burn the thing in which the plague is, in the fire.
13:58If you have washed the garment or the warp, or the woof, or whatever thing of skin it be, if the plague be departed from it, then shall it be washed the second time, and be clean.
13:59This is the law of the plague of leprosy in a garment of woolen or linen, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin, to make it clean or unclean.

Chapter 14

14:1And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
14:2This is the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing:that is, he shall be brought to the Priest,
14:3And the Priest shall go out of the camp, and the Priest shall consider him:and if the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper,
14:4Then shall the Priest command to take for him that is cleansed, two sparrows alive and clean, and cedar wood and a scarlet lace, and hyssop.
14:5And the Priest shall command to kill one of the birds over pure water in an earthen vessel.
14:6After, he shall take the live sparrow with the cedar wood, and the scarlet lace, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living sparrow in the blood of the sparrow slain, over the pure water,
14:7And he shall sprinkle upon him, that must be cleansed of his leprosy, seven times, and cleanse him,and shall let go the live sparrow into the broad field.
14:8Then he that is to be cleansed, shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, so he shall be clean:after that shall he come into the host, but shall stay without his tent seven days.
14:9So in the seventh day he shall shave off all his hair, both his head, and his beard, and his eyebrows--all:even all his hair shall he shave, and shall wash his clothes and shall wash his flesh in water:so he shall be clean.
14:10Then in the eighth day he shall take two he lambs without blemish, and a ewe lamb of a year old without blemish, and three tenth deals of fine flour for a grain offering, mingled with oil,and a pint of oil.
14:11And the Priest that makes him clean shall bring the man who is to be made clean, and those things, before YHWH, at the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
14:12Then the Priest shall take one lamb, and offer him for a trespass offering, and the pint of oil,and shake them to and fro before YHWH.
14:13And he shall kill the lamb in the place where the sin offering and the burnt offering are slain, even in the holy place:for as the sin offering is the Priests, so is the trespass offering:for it is most holy.
14:14So the Priest shall take of the blood of the trespass offering, and put it upon the lobe of the right ear of him that shall be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot.
14:15The Priest shall also take of the pint of oil,and pour it into the palm of his left hand,
14:16And the Priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and sprinkle some of the oil with his finger seven times before YHWH.
14:17And of the rest of the oil that is in his hand, shall the Priest put upon the lobe of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, where the blood of the trespass offering was put.
14:18But the remnant of the oil that is in the Priest's hand, he shall pour upon the head of him that is to be cleansed:so the Priest shall make an atonement for him before YHWH.
14:19And the Priest shall offer the sin offering and make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed of his uncleanness:then after shall he kill the burnt offering.
14:20So the Priest shall offer the burnt offering and the grain offering upon the altar and the Priest shall make an atonement for him:so he shall be clean.
14:21But if he be poor, and not able, then he shall bring one lamb for a trespass offering to be shaken, for his reconciliation, and a tenth deal of fine flour mingled with oil,for a grain offering, with a fine of oil.
14:22Also two turtle doves, or two young pigeons, as he is able, of which the one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering,
14:23And he shall bring them the eighth day for his cleansing to the Priest at the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation before YHWH.
14:24The Priest shall take the lamb of the trespass offering, and the pint of oil,and the Priest shall shake them to and fro before YHWH.
14:25And he shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering, and the Priest shall take of the blood of the trespass offering, and put it upon the lobe of his right ear that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot.
14:26Also the Priest shall pour of the oil into the palm of his own left hand.
14:27So the Priest shall with his right finger sprinkle some of the oil that is in his left hand, seven times before YHWH.
14:28Then the Priest shall put of the oil that is in his hand, upon the lobe of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:upon the place of the blood of the trespass offering.
14:29But the rest of the oil that is in the Priest's hand, he shall put upon the head of him that is to be cleansed, to make an atonement for him before YHWH.
14:30Also he shall present one of the turtle doves, or of the young pigeons, as he is able:
14:31Such, I say, as he is able, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering with the grain offering:so the Priest shall make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed before YHWH.
14:32This is the law of him which has the plague of leprosy, who is not able in his cleansing to offer the whole.
14:33YHWH also spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
14:34When you be come to the land of Canaan which I give you in possession, if I send the plague of leprosy in a house of the land of your possession,
14:35Then he that owns the house, shall come and tell the Priest, saying, Me think there is like a plague of leprosy in the house.
14:36Then the Priest shall command them to empty the house before the Priest go into it to see the plague, that all that is in the house be not made unclean, and then shall the Priest go in to see the house,
14:37And he shall mark the plague:and if the plague be in the walls of the house, and that there be deep spots, greenish or reddish, which seem to be lower than the wall,
14:38Then the Priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shall cause to shut up the house seven days.
14:39So the Priest shall come again the seventh day:and if he see that the plague be increased in the walls of the house,
14:40Then the Priest shall command them to take away the stones in which the plague is, and they shall cast them into an unclean place without the city.
14:41Also he shall cause to scrape the house within round about, and pour the dust, that they have pared off, without the city in an unclean place.
14:42And they shall take other stones, and put them in the places of those stones, and shall take other mortar, to plaster the house with.
14:43But if the plague come again and break out in the house, after that he has taken away the stones, and after that he has scraped and plastered the house,
14:44Then the Priest shall come and see:and if the plague grow in the house, it is a fretting leprosy in the house:it is therefore unclean.
14:45And he shall break down the house, with the stones of it, and the timber of it, and all the mortar of the house, and he shall carry them out of the city to an unclean place.
14:46Moreover he that goes into the house all the while that it is shut up, he shall be unclean until the even.
14:47He also that sleeps in the house shall wash his clothes:he likewise that eats in the house, shall wash his clothes.
14:48But if the Priest shall come and see, that the plague has spread no further in the house, after the house be plastered, the Priest shall pronounce that house clean, for the plague is healed.
14:49Then shall he take to purify the house, two sparrows, and cedar wood, and scarlet lace, and hyssop.
14:50And he shall kill one sparrow over pure water in an earthen vessel,
14:51And shall take the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet lace with the live Sparrow, and dip them in the blood of the slain Sparrow, and in the pure water, and sprinkle the house seven times:
14:52So shall he cleanse the house with the blood of the sparrow, and with the pure water, and with the live sparrow, and with the cedar wood, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet lace.
14:53Afterward he shall let go the live sparrow out of the town into the broad fields:so shall he make atonement for the house, and it shall be clean.
14:54This is the law for every plague of leprosy and black spot,
14:55And of the leprosy of the garment, and of the house,
14:56And of the swelling, and of the scab, and of the white spot.
14:57This is the law of the leprosy to teach when a thing is unclean, and when it is clean.

Chapter 15

15:1Moreover YHWH spoke to Moses, and to Aaron, saying,
15:2Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, Whoever has an issue from his flesh, is unclean, because of his issue.
15:3And this shall be his uncleanness in his issue:when his flesh avoids his issue, or if his flesh be stopped from his issue, this is his uncleanness.
15:4Every bed on what he lies that has the issue, shall be unclean, and everything on what he sits, shall be unclean.
15:5Whoever also touches his bed, shall wash his clothes, and wash himself in water, and shall be unclean until the even.
15:6And he that sits on anything, on which he sat that has the issue, shall wash his clothes, and wash himself in water, and shall be unclean until the even.
15:7Also he that touches the flesh of him that has the issue, shall wash his clothes, and wash himself in water, and shall be unclean until the even.
15:8If he also, that has the issue, spit upon him that is clean, he shall wash his clothes, and wash himself in water, and shall be unclean until the even.
15:9And whatever saddle he rides upon, that has the issue, shall be unclean,
15:10And whoever touches anything that was under him, shall be unclean to the even:and he that bears those things, shall wash his clothes, and wash himself in water, and shall be unclean until the even.
15:11Likewise whomever he touches that has the issue (and has not rinsed his hands in water) shall wash his clothes and wash himself in water, and shall be unclean until the even.
15:12And the vessel of earth that he touches, which has the issue, shall be broken:and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water.
15:13But if he that has an issue, be cleansed of his issue, then shall he count him seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, and wash his flesh in pure water:so shall he be clean.
15:14Then the eighth day he shall take to him two Turtle doves or two young pigeons, and come before YHWH at the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and shall give them to the Priest.
15:15And the Priest shall make of the one of them a sin offering, and of the other a burnt offering:so the Priest shall make an atonement for him before YHWH,for his issue.
15:16Also if any man's issue of seed depart from him, he shall wash all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the even.
15:17And every garment, and every skin Then shall be issue of seed, shall be even washed with water, and be unclean to the even.
15:18If he that has an issue of seed, do lie with a woman, they shall both wash themselves with water, and be unclean until the even.
15:19Also when a woman shall have an issue, and her issue in her flesh shall be blood, she shall be put apart seven days:and whoever touches her, shall be unclean to the even.
15:20And whatever she lies upon in her separation, shall be unclean, and everything that she sits upon, shall be unclean.
15:21Whoever also touches her bed, shall wash his clothes, and wash himself with water, and shall be unclean to the even.
15:22And whoever touches anything that she sat upon, shall wash his clothes, and wash himself in water, and shall be unclean to the even:
15:23So that whether he touch her bed, or anything on what she has sit, he shall be unclean to the even.
15:24And if a man lie with her, and the flowers of her separation touch him, he shall be unclean seven days, and all the whole bed on what he lies, shall be unclean.
15:25Also when a woman issue of blood runs long time besides the time of her flowers, or when she has an issue, longer than her flowers, all the days of the issue of her uncleanness she shall be unclean, as in the time of her flowers.
15:26Every bed on which she lies (as long as her issue lasts) shall be to her as her bed of her separation: and whatever she sits upon, shall be unclean, as her uncleanness when she is put apart.
15:27And whoever touches these things, shall be unclean, and shall wash his clothes, and wash himself in water, and shall be unclean to the even.
15:28But if she be cleansed of her issue, then she shall count her seven days, and after, she shall be clean.
15:29And in the eighth day she shall take to her two Turtles or two young pigeons, and bring them to the Priest at the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
15:30And the Priest shall make of the one a sin offering, and of the other a burnt offering, and the Priest shall make an atonement for her before YHWH,for the issue of her uncleanness.
15:31Thus shall you separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness, that they die not in their uncleanness, if they defile my Tabernacle that is among them.
15:32This is the law of him that has an issue, and of him from whom goes an issue of seed by which he is defiled:
15:33Also of her that is sick of her flowers, and of him that has a running issue, whether it be man or woman, and of him that lies with her which is unclean.

Chapter 16

16:1Furthermore YHWH spoke to Moses, after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they came to offer before YHWH,and died:
16:2And YHWH said to Moses, Speak to Aaron your brother, that he come not at all times into the Holy place within the veil, before the Mercy seat, which is upon the Ark,that he die not:for I will appear in the cloud upon the Mercy seat.
16:3After this sort shall Aaron come into the Holy place:even with a young bullock for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering.
16:4He shall put on the holy linen coat, and shall have linen undergarments upon his flesh, and shall be girded with a linen sash, and shall cover his head with a linen turban:these are the holy garments:therefore shall he wash his flesh in water, when he puts them on.
16:5And he shall take of the Congregation of the children of Israel, two he goats for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering.
16:6Then Aaron shall offer the bullock for his sin offering, and make an atonement for himself, and for his house.
16:7And he shall take the two he goats, and present them before YHWH at the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
16:8Then Aaron shall cast lots over the two he goats:one lot for YHWH,and the other for the Scape goat.
16:9And Aaron shall offer the goat, upon which YHWH's lot shall fall, and make him a sin offering.
16:10But the goat, on which the lot shall fall to be the Scape goat, shall be presented alive before YHWH, to make reconciliation by him,and to let him go (as a Scape goat) into the wilderness.
16:11Thus Aaron shall offer the bullock for his sin offering, and make a reconciliation for himself, and for his house, and shall kill the bullock for his sin offering.
16:12And he shall take a censer full of burning coals from off the altar before YHWH,and his handful of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the veil,
16:13And shall put the incense upon the fire before YHWH,that the cloud of the incense may cover the Seat that is upon the Testimony:so he shall not die.
16:14And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it with his finger upon the Seat Eastward:and before the Mercy seat he shall sprinkle some of the blood with his finger seven times.
16:15Then shall he kill the goat that is the peoples sin offering, and bring his blood within the veil, and do with that blood, as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the Mercy seat, and before the Mercy seat.
16:16So he shall cleanse the Holy place from the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and from their trespasses of all their sins: so shall he do also for the Tabernacle of the Remains placed with them, in the midst of their uncleanness.
16:17And there shall be no man in the Tabernacle of the Congregation, when he goes in to make an atonement in the Holy place, until he come out,and have made an atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the Congregation of Israel.
16:18After, he shall go out to the altar that is before YHWH and make a reconciliation upon it,and shall take of the blood of the bullock, and of the blood of the goat, and put it upon the horns of the Altar round about:
16:19So he shall sprinkle some of the blood upon it with his finger seven times, and cleanse it,and hallow it from the uncleanness of the children of Israel.
16:20When he has made an end of cleansing the Holy place, and the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and the altar, then he shall bring the live goat:
16:21And Aaron shall put both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their trespasses, in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away (by the hand of a man appointed) into the wilderness.
16:22So the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities into the land that is not inhabited, and he shall let the goat go into the wilderness.
16:23After, Aaron shall come into the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and put off the linen clothes, which he put on when he went into the Holy place, and leave them there.
16:24He shall wash also his flesh with water in the Holy place, and put on his own clothing, and come out,and make his burnt offering, and the burnt offering of the people, and make an atonement for himself, and for the people.
16:25Also the fat of the sin offering shall he burn upon the altar.
16:26And he that carried forth the goat, called the Scape goat, shall wash his clothes, and wash his flesh in water, and after that shall come into the host.
16:27Also the bullock for the sin offering, and the goat for the sin offering (whose blood was brought to make a reconciliation in the Holy place) shall one carry out without the host to be burnt in the fire, with their skins, and with their flesh, and with their dung.
16:28And he that burns them shall wash his clothes, and wash his flesh in water, and afterward come into the host.
16:29So this shall be an ordinance forever to you:the tenth day of the seventh month, you shall humble your nepheshes, and do no work at all, whether it be one of the same country or a stranger that sojourns among you.
16:30For that day shall the Priest make an atonement for you to cleanse you:you shall be clean from all your sins before YHWH.
16:31This shall be a Sabbath of rest to you,and you shall humble your nepheshes, by an ordinance forever.
16:32And the Priest whom he shall anoint, and whom he shall consecrate (to minister in his father's stead) shall make the atonement, and shall put on the linen clothes and Holy vestments,
16:33And shall cleanse the Holy Sanctuary and the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and shall cleanse the altar, and make an atonement for the Priests and for all the people of the Congregation.
16:34And this shall be an everlasting ordinance to you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year:and as YHWH commanded Moses, he did.

Chapter 17

17:1And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
17:2Speak to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all the children of Israel, and say to them, This is the thing which YHWH has commanded, saying,
17:3Whoever he be of the house of Israel that kills a bullock, or lamb, or goat in the host, or that kills it out of the host,
17:4And brings it not to the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation to offer an offering to YHWH before the Tabernacle of YHWH, blood shall be imputed to that man:he has shed blood, therefore that man shall be cut off from among his people.
17:5Therefore the children of Israel shall bring their offerings, which they would offer abroad in the field, and present them to YHWH at the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation by the Priest, and offer them for peace offerings to YHWH.
17:6Then the Priest shall sprinkle the blood upon the Altar of YHWH before the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and burn the fat for a sweet savor to YHWH.
17:7And they shall no more offer their offerings to goat-demons, after whom they have gone a whoring:this shall be an ordinance forever to them in their generations.
17:8Also you shall say to them, whoever he be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers which sojourn among them, that offers a burnt offering or sacrifice,
17:9And brings it not to the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation to offer it to YHWH, even that man shall be cut off from his people.
17:10Likewise whoever he be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among them, that eats any blood, I will even set my face against that nephesh that eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people.
17:11For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you to offer upon the altar, to make an atonement for your nepheshes:for this blood shall make an atonement for the nephesh.
17:12Therefore I said to the children of Israel, No nephesh of you shall eat blood:neither the stranger that sojourns among you, shall eat blood.
17:13Moreover whoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among them, which by hunting takes any beast or fowl that may be eaten, he shall pour out the blood of it,and cover it with dust:
17:14For the nephesh of all flesh is his blood, it is joined with his nephesh:therefore I said to the children of Israel, You shall not eat the blood of any flesh:for the nephesh of all flesh is the blood of it:whoever eats it, shall be cut off.
17:15And every nephesh that eats it which dies alone, or that which is torn with beasts, whether it be one of the same country or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and wash himself in water, and be unclean to the even:after he shall be clean.
17:16But if he does not wash them, nor wash his flesh, then he shall bear his iniquity.

Chapter 18

18:1And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
18:2Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, I am YHWH your Elohim.
18:3After the doings of the land of Egypt, in which you dwelt, shall you not do: and after the manner of the land of Canaan, where I will bring you, shall you not do, neither walk in their ordinances,
18:4But do after my judgments, and keep my ordinances, to walk in it: I am YHWH your Elohim.
18:5You shall keep therefore my statutes, and my judgments, which if a man do, he shall then live in them:I am YHWH.
18:6None shall come near to any of the kindred of his flesh to uncover her shame:I am YHWH.
18:7You shall not uncover the shame of your father, nor the shame of your mother:for she is your mother, you shall not discover her shame.
18:8The shame of your father's wife shall you not discover:for it is your father's shame.
18:9You shall not discover the shame of your sister the daughter of your father, or the daughter of your mother, whether she be born at home, or born without:you shall not discover their shame.
18:10The shame of your sons daughter, or of your daughters daughter, you shall not, I say, uncover their shame:for it is your shame.
18:11The shame of your fathers wives daughter, begotten of your father (for she is your sister) you shall not, I say, discover her shame.
18:12You shall not uncover the shame of your fathers sister:for she is your fathers kinswoman.
18:13You shall not discover the shame of your mothers sister:for she is your mothers kinswoman.
18:14You shall not uncover the shame of your fathers brother:that is, you shall not go in to his wife, for she is your aunt.
18:15You shall not discover the shame of your daughter-in-law:for she is your sons wife:therefore shall you not uncover her shame.
18:16You shall not discover the shame of your brothers wife. For it is your brothers shame.
18:17You shall not discover the shame of the wife and of her daughter, neither shall you take her sons daughter, nor her daughters daughter, to uncover her shame:for they are your kin,and it were wickedness.
18:18Also you shall not take a wife with her sister, during her life, to vex her, in uncovering her shame upon her.
18:19You shall not also go to a woman to uncover her shame, as long as she is separated in her uncleanness.
18:20Moreover, you shall not give yourself to your neighbors wife by carnal copulation, to be defiled with her.
18:21Also you shall not give your children to offer them to Molech, neither shall you profane the name of your Elohim:for I am YHWH.
18:22You shall not lie with the male as one lies with a woman:for it is abomination.
18:23You shall not also lie with any beast to be defiled with it, neither shall any woman stand before a beast, to lie down thereto: for it is abomination.
18:24You shall not defile yourselves in any of these things:for in all these the nations are defiled, which I will cast out before you:
18:25And the land is defiled: therefore I will visit the wickedness of it upon it, and the land shall vomit out her inhabitants.
18:26You shall keep therefore my ordinances, and my judgments, and commit none of these abominations, dwells he that is of the same country, as the stranger that sojourns among you.
18:27(For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you,and the land is defiled:
18:28And shall not the land spew you out if you defile it, as it spewed out the people that were before you?)
18:29For whoever shall commit any of these abominations, the nepheshes that do so, shall be cut off from among their people.
18:30Therefore shall you keep my ordinances that you do not any of the abominable customs, which have been done before you, and that you do not defile yourselves in it: for I am YHWH your Elohim.
19:1And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
19:2Speak to all the Congregation of the children of Israel, and say to them, You shall be holy, for I YHWH your Elohim am holy.
19:3You shall fear every man his mother and his father, and shall keep my Sabbaths:for I am YHWH your Elohim.
19:4You shall not turn to idols, nor make for yourselves molten gods:I am YHWH your Elohim.
19:5And when you shall offer a peace offering to YHWH, you shall offer it freely.
19:6It shall be eaten the day you offer it, or on the morrow:and that which remains until the third day, shall be burnt in the fire.
19:7For if it be eaten the third day, it shall be unclean, it shall not be accepted.
19:8Therefore he that eats it, shall bear his iniquity, because he has profaned the holy thing of YHWH,and that nephesh shall be cut off from his people.
19:9When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap every corner of your field, neither shall you gather the gleanings of your harvest.
19:10You shall not gather the grapes of your vineyard clean, neither gather every grape of your vineyard, but you shall leave them for the poor and for the stranger:I am YHWH your Elohim.
19:11You shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.
19:12Also you shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shall you profane the name of your Elohim:I am YHWH.
19:13You shall not do your neighbor wrong, neither rob him. The remain hire shall not abide with you until the morning.
19:14You shall not curse the deaf, neither put a stumbling block before the blind, but shall fear your Elohim:I am YHWH.
19:15You shall not do unjustly in judgment. You shall not favor the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty, but you shall judge your neighbor justly.
19:16You shall not walk about with tales among your people. You shall not stand against the blood of your neighbor:I am YHWH.
19:17You shall not hate your brother in your heart, but you shall plainly rebuke your neighbor, and suffer him not to sin.
19:18You shall not avenge, nor be mindful of wrong against the children of your people, but shall love your neighbor as yourself:I am YHWH.
19:19You shall keep my ordinances. You shall not let your cattle gender with others of diverse kinds. You shall not sow your field with mingled seed, neither shall a garment of diverse things, as of linen and woolen come upon you.
19:20Whoever also lies and meddles with a woman that is a bond maid, affianced to a husband, and not redeemed, nor freedom given her, she shall be scourged, but they shall not die, because she is not made free.
19:21And he shall bring for his trespass offering to YHWH, at the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, a ram for a trespass offering.
19:22Then the Priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering before YHWH, concerning his sin which he has done, and pardon shall be given him for his sin which he has committed.
19:23Also when you shall come into the land, and have planted every tree for food, you shall count the fruit of it as uncircumcised:three year shall it be uncircumcised to you, it shall not be eaten:
19:24But in the fourth year all the fruit of it shall be holy to the praise of YHWH.
19:25And in the fifth year shall you eat of the fruit of it that it may yield to you the increase of it:I am YHWH your Elohim.
19:26You shall not eat the flesh with the blood, you shall not use witchcraft, nor observe times.
19:27You shall not cut round the corners of your heads, neither shall you mar the tufts of your beard.
19:28You shall not cut your flesh for the dead, nor make any print of a mark upon you:I am YHWH,
19:29You shall not make your daughter common, to cause her to be a whore, lest the land also fall to whoredom, and the land be full of wickedness.
19:30You shall keep my Sabbaths and reverence my Sanctuary:I am YHWH.
19:31You shall not regard them that work with spirits, neither soothsayers:you shall not seek to them to be defiled by them:I am YHWH your Elohim.
19:32You shall rise up before the headed, and honor the person of the old man,and dread your Elohim:I am YHWH.
19:33And if a stranger sojourn with you in your land, you shall not vex him.
19:34But the stranger that dwells with you, shall be as one of yourselves, and you shall love him as yourself:for you were strangers in the land of Egypt:I am YHWH your Elohim.
19:35You shall not do unjustly in judgment, in line, in weight, or in measure.
19:36You shall have just scales, true weights, a true Ephah, and a true Hin. I am YHWH your Elohim, who have brought you out of the land of Egypt.
19:37Therefore shall you observe all my ordinances, and all my judgments, and do them:I am YHWH.

Chapter 20

20:1And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
20:2You shall say also to the children of Israel, Whoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that dwell in Israel, that gives his children to Molech, he shall die the death, the people of the land shall stone him to death.
20:3And I will set my face against that man and cut him off from among his people, because he has given his children to Molech, for to defile my Sanctuary, and to profane my holy Name.
20:4And if the people of the land hide their eyes, and in at that man when he gives his children to Molech, and kill him not,
20:5Then will I set my face against that man,and against his family, and will cut him off,and all that go a whoring after him to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.
20:6If a nephesh turn after such as work with spirits, and after soothsayers, to go a whoring after them, then will I set my face against that nephesh, and will cut him off from among his people.
20:7Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am YHWH your Elohim.
20:8Keep therefore my ordinances, and do them. I am YHWH who does sanctify you.
20:9If there be any that curses his father or his mother, he shall die the death:seeing he has cursed his father and his mother, his blood shall be upon him.
20:10And the man that commits adultery with another man's wife, because he has committed adultery with his neighbors wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall die the death.
20:11And the man that lies with his father's wife, because he has uncovered his father's shame, they shall both die:their blood shall be upon them.
20:12Also the man that lies with his daughter-in-law, they both shall die the death, they have worked abomination, their blood shall be upon them.
20:13The man also that lies with the male, as one lies with a woman, they have both committed abomination:they shall die the death, their blood shall be upon them.
20:14Likewise he that takes a wife and her mother, commits wickedness:they shall burn him and them with fire, that there be no wickedness among you.
20:15Also the man that lies with a beast, shall die the death, and you shall slay the beast.
20:16And if a woman come to any beast, and lie with it, then you shall kill the woman and the beast: they shall die the death, their blood shall be upon them.
20:17Also the man that takes his sister, his fathers daughter, or his mother's daughter, and sees her shame and she sees his shame, it is villainy:therefore they shall be cut off in the sight of their people, because he has uncovered his sisters shame, he shall bear his iniquity.
20:18The man also that lies with a woman having her disease, and uncovers her shame, and opens her fountain, and she open the fountain of her blood, they shall be even both cut off from among their people.
20:19Moreover you shall not uncover the shame of your mothers sister, nor of your fathers sister:because he has uncovered his kin, they shall bear their iniquity.
20:20Likewise the man that lies with his fathers brothers wife, and uncovers his uncle's shame:they shall bear their iniquity, and shall die childless.
20:21So the man that takes his brothers wife, commits filthiness, because he has uncovered his brothers shame:they shall be childless.
20:22You shall keep therefore all my ordinances and all my judgments, and do them, that the land, where I bring you to dwell in it, spew you not out.
20:23Therefore you shall not walk in the statutes of this nation which I cast out before you: for they have committed all these things, therefore I abhorred them.
20:24But I have said to you, you shall inherit their land, and I will give it to you to possess it, even a land that flows with milk and honey:I am YHWH your Elohim, who have separated you from other people.
20:25Therefore shall you put difference between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean fowls and clean:neither shall you defile your nepheshes with beasts and fowls, nor with any creeping thing, that the ground brings forth, which I have separated from you as unclean.
20:26Therefore shall you be holy to me:for I YHWH am holy, and I have separated you from other people, that you should be mine.
20:27And if a man or woman have Ob or Yiddeoni in them, they shall die the death:they shall stone them to death, their blood shall be upon them.

Chapter 21

21:1And YHWH said to Moses, Speak to the Priests the sons of Aaron, and say to them, Let none be unclean by a nephesh among his people,
21:2But by his kinsman that is near to him:namely, by his mother, or by his father, or by his son, or by his daughter, or by his brother,
21:3Or by his sister a maid, that is near to him, which has not had a husband:for her he may lament.
21:4He shall not lament for the Prince among his people, to pollute himself.
21:5They shall not make bald parts upon their head, nor shave off the locks of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.
21:6They shall be holy to their Elohim, and not profane the name of their Elohim:for the sacrifices of YHWH made by fire, and the bread of their Elohim they do offer:therefore they shall be holy.
21:7They shall not take to wife a whore, or one polluted, neither shall they marry a woman divorced from her husband:for such one is holy to his Elohim.
21:8You shall sanctify him therefore, for he offers the bread of your Elohim:he shall be holy to you:for I YHWH, who sanctify you, am holy.
21:9If a Priest's daughter fall to play the whore, she profanes her father: therefore shall she be burnt with fire.
21:10Also the high Priest among his brethren, (upon whose head the anointing oil was poured, and has consecrated his hand to put on the garments) shall not uncover his head, nor rent his clothes,
21:11Neither shall he go to any dead body, nor make his nephesh unclean by his father or by his mother,
21:12Neither shall he go out of the Sanctuary, nor profane the holy place of his Elohim:for the crown of the anointing oil of his Elohim is upon him:I am YHWH.
21:13Also he shall take a maid to his wife:
21:14But a widow, or a divorced woman, or a polluted, or a harlot, these shall he not marry, but shall take a maid of his own people to wife:
21:15Neither shall he defile his seed among his people:for I am YHWH who sanctify him.
21:16And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
21:17Speak to Aaron, and say, Whoever of your seed in their generations has any blemishes, shall not press to offer the bread of his Elohim:
21:18For whoever has any blemish, shall not come near:as a man blind or lame, or that has a flat nose, or that has any misshapen member,
21:19Or a man that has a broken foot, or a broken hand,
21:20Or is crook backed, or blear eyed, or has a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or have his stones broken.
21:21None of the seed of Aaron the Priest that has a blemish, shall come near to offer the sacrifices of YHWH made by fire, having a blemish:he shall not press to offer the bread of his Elohim.
21:22The bread of his Elohim, even of the most holy, and of the holy shall he eat:
21:23But he shall not go in to the veil, nor come near the altar, because he has a blemish, lest he profane my Sanctuaries:for I am YHWH that sanctify them.
21:24Thus spoke Moses to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all the children of Israel.

Chapter 22

22:1And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
22:2Speak to Aaron, and to his sons, that they be separated from the holy things of the children of Israel, and that they do not profane my holy Name in those things, which they hallow to me:I am YHWH.
22:3Say to them, Whoever he be of all your seed among your generations after you, that touches the holy things which the children of Israel hallow to YHWH, having his uncleanness upon him, even that nephesh shall be cut off from my sight:I am YHWH.
22:4Whoever also of the seed of Aaron is a leper, or has a running issue, he shall not eat of the holy things until he be clean:and who so touches any that is unclean, by reason of the dead, or a man whose issue of seed runs from him,
22:5Or the man that touches any creeping thing, by which he may be made unclean, or a man, by whom he may take uncleanness, whatever uncleanness he has,
22:6The nephesh that has touched such, shall therefore be unclean until the even, and shall not eat of the holy things, unless he has washed his flesh with water.
22:7But when the Sun is down, he shall be clean, and shall afterward eat of the holy things:for it is his food.
22:8Of a beast that dies, or is rent with beasts, by what he may be defiled, he shall not eat: I am YHWH.
22:9Let them keep therefore my ordinance, lest they bear their iniquity for it, and die for it, if they defile it: I YHWH sanctify them.
22:10There shall no stranger also eat of the holy thing, neither the sojourner of the Priest, neither shall a hired servant eat of the holy thing:
22:11But if the Priest buy a nephesh with money, he shall eat of it, also he that is born in his house:they shall eat of his food.
22:12If the Priest's daughter also be married to a stranger, she may not eat of the holy offerings.
22:13Notwithstanding if the Priest's daughter be a widow or divorced, and have no child, but is returned to her father's house she shall eat of her father's bread, as she did in her youth but there shall no stranger eat of it.
22:14If a man eat of the holy thing unwittingly, he shall put the fifth part thereto, and give it to the Priest with the hallowed thing.
22:15So they shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, which they offer to YHWH,
22:16Neither cause the people to bear the iniquity of their trespass, while they eat their holy thing:for I YHWH do hallow them.
22:17And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
22:18Speak to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all the children of Israel, and say to them, Whoever he be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers in Israel, that will offer his sacrifice for all their vows, and for all their free offerings, which they use to offer to YHWH for a burnt offering,
22:19You shall offer of your free mind a male without blemish of the cattle, of the sheep, or of the goats.
22:20You shall not offer anything that has a blemish:for that shall not be acceptable for you.
22:21And whoever brings a peace offering to YHWH to accomplish his vow, or for a free offering, of the cattle, or of the sheep, his free offering shall be perfect, no blemish shall be in it.
22:22Blind, or broken, or maimed, or having a wen, or scurvy, or scabbed:these shall you not offer to YHWH nor make an offering by fire of these upon the altar of YHWH.
22:23Yet a bullock, or a sheep that has any member superfluous, or lacking, such may you present for a free offering, but for a vow it shall not be accepted.
22:24You shall not offer to YHWH that which is bruised or crushed, or broken, or cut away, neither shall you make an offering of it in your land,
22:25Neither of the hand of a stranger shall you offer the bread of your Elohim of any of these, because their corruption is in them, there is a blemish in them:therefore shall they not be accepted for you.
22:26And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
22:27When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat shall be brought forth, it shall be even seven days under its mother:and from the eighth day forth, it shall be accepted for a sacrifice made by fire to YHWH.
22:28As for the cow or the ewe, you shall not kill her,and her young both in one day.
22:29So when you will offer a thank offering to YHWH, you shall offer willingly.
22:30The same day it shall be eaten, you shall leave none of it until the morrow:I am YHWH.
22:31Therefore shall you keep my commandments and do them:for I am YHWH.
22:32Neither shall you profane my holy Name, but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel. I YHWH sanctify you,
22:33Which have brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your Elohim:I am YHWH.

Chapter 23

23:1And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
23:2Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, The feasts of YHWH who you shall call the holy assemblies, even these are my feasts.
23:3Six days shall work be done, but in the seventh day shall be the Sabbath of rest, a holy convocation: you shall do no work in it, it is the Sabbath of YHWH, in all your dwellings.
23:4These are the feasts of YHWH,and holy convocations, which you shall proclaim in their seasons.
23:5In the first month, and in the fourteenth day of the month at evening shall be the Passover of YHWH.
23:6And on the fifteenth day of this month shall be the Feast of Unleavened Bread to YHWH: seven days you shall eat unleavened bread.
23:7In the first day you shall have a holy convocation: you shall do no servile work in it.
23:8Also you shall offer sacrifice made by fire to YHWH seven days, and in the seventh day shall be a holy convocation: you shall do no servile work in it.
23:9And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
23:10Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, When you be come into the land which I give to you, and reap the harvest of it, then you shall bring a sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the Priest,
23:11And he shall shake the sheaf before YHWH,that it may be acceptable for you:the morrow after the Sabbath, the Priest shall shake it.
23:12And that day when you shake the sheaf, shall you prepare a lamb without blemish of a year old,for a burnt offering to YHWH:
23:13And the grain offering of it shall be two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil,for a sacrifice made by fire to YHWH of sweet savor. And the drink offering of it the fourth part of an Hin of wine.
23:14And you shall eat neither bread nor parched grain, nor green ears until the self same day that you have brought an offering to your Elohim:this shall be a law forever in your generations and in all your dwellings.
23:15You shall count also to you from the morrow after the Sabbath, even from the day that you shall bring the sheaf of the shake offering, seven Sabbaths, they shall be complete.
23:16To the morrow after the seventh Sabbath shall you number fifty days:then you shall bring a new grain offering to YHWH.
23:17You shall bring out of your habitations bread for the shake offering:they shall be two loaves of two tenth deals of fine flour, which shall be baked with leaven for first fruits to YHWH.
23:18Also you shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of one year old,and a young bullock and two rams:they shall be for a burnt offering to YHWH, with their grain offerings and their drink offerings, for a sacrifice made by fire of a sweet savor to YHWH.
23:19Then you shall prepare a he goat for a sin offering, and two lambs of one year old for peace offerings.
23:20And the Priest shall shake them to and fro with the bread of the first fruits before YHWH,and with the two lambs:they shall be holy to YHWH,for the Priest.
23:21So you shall proclaim the same day, that it may be a holy convocation to you: you shall do no servile work in it: it shall be an ordinance forever in all your dwellings, throughout your generations.
23:22And when you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not rid clean the corners of your field when you reap, neither shall you gather any gleanings of your harvest, but shall leave them to the poor and to the stranger:I am YHWH your Elohim.
23:23And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
23:24Speak to the children of Israel, and say, In the seventh month, and in the first day of the month shall you have a Sabbath, for the remembrance of blowing the trumpets, a holy convocation.
23:25You shall do no servile work in it, but offer sacrifice made by fire to YHWH.
23:26And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
23:27The tenth also of this seventh month shall be a day of reconciliation:it shall be a holy convocation to you,and you shall humble your nepheshes, and offer sacrifice made by fire to YHWH.
23:28And you shall do no work that same day:for it is a day of reconciliation, to make an atonement for you before YHWH your Elohim.
23:29For every nephesh that humbles not himself that same day, shall even be cut off from his people.
23:30And every nephesh that shall do any work that same day, the same nephesh also will I destroy from among his people.
23:31You shall do no manner work therefore:this shall be a law forever in your generations, throughout all your dwellings.
23:32This shall be to you a Sabbath of rest, and you shall humble your nepheshes:in the ninth day of the month at even, from even to even shall you celebrate your Sabbath.
23:33And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
23:34Speak to the children of Israel, and say, In the fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be for seven days the Feast of Tabernacles to YHWH.
23:35In the first day shall be a holy convocation: you shall do no servile work in it.
23:36Seven days you shall offer sacrifice made by fire to YHWH, and in the eighth day shall be a holy convocation to you, and you shall offer sacrifices made by fire to YHWH: it is the solemn assembly, you shall do no servile work in it.
23:37These are the feasts of YHWH (which you shall call holy convocations) to offer sacrifice made by fire to YHWH, as burnt offering, and grain offering, sacrifice, and drink offerings, every one upon his day,
23:38Beside the Sabbaths of YHWH,and beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your free offerings, which you shall give to YHWH.
23:39But in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruit of the land, you shall keep a holy feast to YHWH seven days:in the first day shall be a Sabbath:likewise in the eighth day shall be a Sabbath.
23:40And you shall take for yourselves in the first day the fruit of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook, and shall rejoice before YHWH your Elohim seven days.
23:41So you shall keep this feast to YHWH seven days in the year, by a perpetual ordinance through your generations:in the seventh month shall you keep it.
23:42You shall dwell in booths seven days:all that are Israelites born, shall dwell in booths,
23:43That your posterity may know that I have made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt:I am YHWH your Elohim.
23:44So Moses declared to the children of Israel the feasts of YHWH.

Chapter 24

24:1And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
24:2Command the children of Israel that they bring to you pure olive oil beaten, for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually.
24:3Without the veil of the Testimony, in the Tabernacle of the Congregation, shall Aaron dress them, both even and morning before YHWH always:this shall be a law forever through your generations.
24:4He shall dress the lamps upon the pure Candlestick before YHWH perpetually.
24:5Also you shall take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes of it: two tenth deals shall be in one cake.
24:6And you shall set them in two rows, six in a row upon the pure table before YHWH.
24:7You shall also put pure incense upon the rows, that for the bread it may be for a remembrance, and an offering made by fire to YHWH.
24:8Every Sabbath he shall put them in rows before YHWH evermore, receiving them of the children of Israel for an everlasting covenant.
24:9And the bread shall be Aaron and his sons, and they shall eat it in the holy place:for it is most holy to him of the offerings of YHWH made by fire by a perpetual ordinance.
24:10And there went out among the children of Israel the son of an Israelitish woman, whose father was an Egyptian:and this son of the Israelitish woman, and a man of Israel strove together in the host.
24:11So the Israelitish woman's son blasphemed the name of the Lord, and cursed, and they brought him to Moses (his mother's name also was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan)
24:12And they put him in ward, until it was declared to them by the mouth of YHWH.
24:13Then YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
24:14Bring the blasphemer without the host, and let all that heard him, put their hands upon his head, and let all the Congregation stone him.
24:15And you shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, Whoever curses his Elohim, shall bear his sin.
24:16And he that blasphemes the name of YHWH, shall be put to death:all the Congregation shall stone him to death:well the stranger, as he that is born in the land:when he blasphemes the name of the Lord, let him slain.
24:17He also that kills a nephesh of man, he shall be put to death.
24:18And he that kills the nephesh of a beast, he shall restore it, nephesh for nephesh.
24:19Also if a man cause any blemish in his neighbor:as he has done, so shall it be done to him.
24:20Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth:such a blemish as he has made in any, such shall be repaid to him.
24:21And he that kills a beast shall restore it:but he that kills a man shall be slain.
24:22You shall have one law:it shall be aswel for the stranger as for one born in the country:for I am YHWH your Elohim.
24:23Then Moses told the children of Israel, and they brought the blasphemer out of the host, and stoned him with stones:so the children of Israel did as YHWH had commanded Moses.

Chapter 25

25:1And YHWH spoke to Moses in mount Sinai, saying,
25:2Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, When you shall come into the land which I give you, the land shall keep Sabbath to YHWH.
25:3Six years you shall sow your field, and six years you shall cut your vineyard, and gather the fruit of it.
25:4But the seventh year shall be a Sabbath of rest to the land:it shall be YHWH's Sabbath:you shall neither sow your field, nor cut your vineyard.
25:5That which grows of its own accord of your harvest, you shall not reap, neither gather the grapes that you have left accord:for it shall be a year of rest to the land.
25:6And the rest of the land shall be meat for you, even for you,and for your servant, and for your maid, and for your hired servant, and for the stranger that sojourns with you:
25:7And for your cattle, and for the beasts that are in your land shall all the increase of it be meat.
25:8Also you shall number seven Sabbaths of years to you, even seven times seven year:and the space of the seven Sabbaths of years will be to you nine and forty year.
25:9Then you shall cause to blow the trumpet of the Jubilee in the tenth day of the seventh month:even in the day of the reconciliation shall you make the trumpet blow, throughout all your land.
25:10And you shall hallow that year, even the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty in the land to all the inhabitants of it: it shall be the Jubilee to you, and you shall return every man to his possession, and every man shall return to his family.
25:11This fiftieth year shall be a year of Jubilee to you: you shall not sow, neither reap that which grows of itself, neither gather the grapes of it, that are left accord.
25:12For it is the Jubilee, it shall be holy to you:you shall eat of the increase of it out of the field.
25:13In the year of this Jubilee, you shall return every man to his possession.
25:14And when you sell ought to your neighbor, or buy at your neighbors hand, you shall not oppress one another:
25:15But according to the number of years after the Jubilee you shall buy of your neighbor:also according to the number of the years of the revenues, he shall sell to you.
25:16According to the multitude of years, you shall increase the price of it,and according to the fewness of years, you shall abate the price of it:for the number of fruits does he sell to you.
25:17Oppress not you therefore any man his neighbor, but you shall fear your Elohim:for I am YHWH your Elohim.
25:18Therefore you shall obey my ordinances, and keep my laws, and do them, and you shall dwell in the land in safety.
25:19And the land shall give her fruit, and you shall eat your fill, and dwell in it in safety.
25:20And if you shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year, for we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase?
25:21I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.
25:22And you shall sow the eighth year, and eat of the old fruit until the ninth year:until the fruit of it come, you shall eat the old.
25:23Also the land shall not be sold to be cut off from the family:for the land is mine, and you be but strangers and sojourners with me.
25:24Therefore in all the land of your possession you shall grant a redemption for the land.
25:25If your brother be impoverished, and sell his possession, then his redeemer shall come, even his near kinsman, and buy out that which his brother sold.
25:26And if he have no redeemer, but has gotten and found to buy it out,
25:27Then shall he count the years of his sale, and restore the surplus to the man, to whom he sold it:so shall he return to his possession.
25:28But if he cannot get sufficient to restore to him, then that which is sold, shall remain in the hand of him who has bought it, until the year of the Jubilee:and in the Jubilee it shall come out,and he shall return to his possession.
25:29Likewise if a man sell a dwelling house in a walled city, he may buy it out again within a whole year after it is sold:within a year may he buy it out.
25:30But if it be not bought out within the space of a full year, then the house that is in the walled city, shall be walled, as cut off from the family, to him that bought it, throughout his generations:it shall not go out in the Jubilee.
25:31But the houses of villages, which have no walls round about them, shall be esteemed as the field of the country:they may be bought out again, and shall go out in the Jubilee.
25:32Notwithstanding, the cities of the Levites, and the houses of the cities of their possession, may the Levites redeem at all seasons.
25:33And if a man purchase of the Levites, the house that was sold, and the city of their possession shall go out in the Jubilee:for the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession among the children of Israel.
25:34But the field of the suburbs of their cities, shall not be sold:for it is their perpetual possession.
25:35Moreover, if your brother be impoverished, and fallen in decay with you, you shall relieve him,and as a stranger and sojourner, so shall he live with you.
25:36You shall take no interest from him, nor profit, but you shall fear your Elohim, that your brother may live with you.
25:37You shall not give him your money at interest, nor lend him your food for profit.
25:38I am YHWH your Elohim, who have brought you out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your Elohim.
25:39If your brother also that dwells by you, be impoverished, and be sold to you, you shall not compel him to serve as a bond servant,
25:40But as a hired servant, and as a sojourner he shall be with you:he shall serve you to the year of the Jubilee.
25:41Then shall he depart from you, both he,and his children with him,and shall return to his family, and to the possession of his fathers shall he return:
25:42For they are my servants, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt:they shall not be sold as bondmen are sold.
25:43You shall not rule over him cruelly, but shall fear your Elohim.
25:44Your bond servant also, and your bond maid, which you shall have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you:of them shall you buy servants and maids.
25:45And moreover of the children of the strangers, that are sojourners among you, of them shall you buy,and of their families that are with you, which they begot in your land:these shall be your possession.
25:46So you shall take them as inheritance for your children after you, to possess them by inheritance, you shall use their labors forever:but over your brethren the children of Israel you shall not rule one over another with cruelty.
25:47If a sojourner or a stranger dwelling by you get riches, and your brother by him be impoverished, and sell himself to the stranger or sojourner dwelling by you, or to the stock of the strangers family,
25:48After that he is sold, he may be bought out:one of his brethren may buy him out,
25:49Or his uncle, or his uncle's son may buy him out, or any of the kindred of his flesh among his family, may redeem him:either if he can get so much, he may buy himself out.
25:50Then he shall reckon with his year from the year that he was sold to him, to the year of Jubilee:and the money of his sale shall be according to the number of years:according to the time of a hired servant shall he be with him.
25:51If there be many years behind, according to them he shall give again for his deliverance, of the money that he was bought for.
25:52If there remain but few years to the year of Jubilee, then he shall count with him,and according to his years give again for his redemption.
25:53He shall be with him year by year as a hired servant:he shall not rule cruelly over him in your sight.
25:54And if he be not redeemed thus, he shall go out in the year of Jubilee, he,and his children with him.
25:55For to me the children of Israel are servants:they are my servants, who I have brought out of the land of Egypt:I am YHWH your Elohim.

Chapter 26

26:1You shall make for yourselves no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up any pillar, neither shall you set any image of stone in your land to bow down to it:for I am YHWH your Elohim.
26:2You shall keep my Sabbaths, and reverence my Sanctuary:I am YHWH.
26:3If you walk in my ordinances, and keep my commandments, and do them,
26:4I will then send you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall give her fruit.
26:5And your threshing shall reach to the vintage, and the vintage shall reach to sowing time, and you shall eat your bread in plenteousness, and dwell in your land safely.
26:6And I will send peace in the land, and you shall sleep and none shall make you afraid:also I will rid evil beasts out of the land, and the sword shall not go through your land.
26:7Also you shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you upon the sword.
26:8And five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight, and your enemies shall fall before you upon the sword.
26:9For I will have respect to you,and make you increase, and multiply you,and establish my covenant with you.
26:10You shall eat also old store, and carry out old because of the new.
26:11And I will set my Tabernacle among you,and my nephesh shall not abhor you.
26:12Also I will walk among you,and I will be your Elohim, and you shall be my people.
26:13I am YHWH your Elohim who have brought you out of the land of Egypt, that you should not be their bondmen, and I have broken the bonds of your yoke, and made you go upright.
26:14But if you will not obey me, nor do all these commandments,
26:15And if you shall despise my ordinances, either if your nephesh abhor my laws, so that you will not do all my commandments, but break my covenant,
26:16Then will I also do this to you, I will appoint over you fearfulness, a consumption, and the burning ague to consume the eyes, and make the nephesh heavy, and you shall sow your seed in vain:for your enemies shall eat it:
26:17And I will set my face against you,and you shall fall before your enemies, and they that hate you, shall reign over you,and you shall flee when none pursues you.
26:18And if you will not for these things obey me, then will I punish you seven times more, according to your sins,
26:19And I will break the pride of your power, and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:
26:20And your strength shall be spent in vain:neither shall your land give her increase, neither shall the trees of the land give their fruit.
26:21And if you walk stubbornly against me,and will not obey me, I will then bring seven times more plagues upon you, according to your sins.
26:22I will also send wild beasts upon you, which shall spoil you,and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number:so your high ways shall be desolate.
26:23Yet if by these you will not be reformed by me,but walk stubbornly against me,
26:24Then will I also walk stubbornly against you,and I will smite you yet seven times for your sins:
26:25And I will send a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant:and when you are gathered in your cities, I will send the pestilence among you,and you shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
26:26When I shall break the staff of your bread, then ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver your bread again by weight, and you shall eat,but not be satisfied.
26:27Yet if you will not for this obey me,but walk against me stubbornly,
26:28Then will I walk stubbornly in my anger against you,and I will also chastise you seven times more according to your sins.
26:29And you shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall you devour.
26:30I will also destroy your high places, and cut away your images, and cast your carcasses upon the bodies of your idols, and my nephesh shall abhor you.
26:31And I will make your cities desolate, and make your Sanctuary desolate, and will not smell the savor of your sweet odors.
26:32I will also bring the land to a wilderness, and your enemies, which dwell in it, shall be astonished at it.
26:33Also I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you,and your land shall be waste, and your cities shall be desolate.
26:34Then shall the land enjoy her Sabbaths, as long as it lies void, and you shall be in your enemies land:then shall the land rest, and enjoy her Sabbaths.
26:35All the days that it lies void, it shall rest, because it did not rest in your Sabbaths, when you dwelt upon it.
26:36And upon them that are left of you, I will send even a faintness into their hearts in the land of their enemies, and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them, and they shall flee as fleeing from a sword, and they shall fall, no man pursuing them.
26:37They shall fall also one upon another, as before a sword, though none pursue them, and you shall not be able to stand before your enemies:
26:38And you shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.
26:39And they that are left of you, shall pine away for their iniquity, in your enemies lands, and for the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them also.
26:40Then they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers for their trespass, which they have trespassed against me, and also because they have walked stubbornly against me.
26:41Therefore I will walk stubbornly against them, and bring them into the land of their enemies:so then their uncircumcised hearts shall be humbled, and then they shall willingly bear the punishment of their iniquity.
26:42Then I will remember my covenant with Jacob, and my covenant also with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember, and will remember the land.
26:43The land also in the mean season shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her Sabbaths while she lies waste without them, but they shall willingly suffer the punishment of their iniquity, because they despised my laws, and because their nephesh abhorred my ordinances.
26:44Yet notwithstanding this, when they shall be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, nor to break my covenant with them:for I am YHWH their Elohim:
26:45But I will remember for them the covenant of old when I brought them out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen that I might be their Elohim:I am YHWH.
26:46These are the ordinances, and the judgments, and the laws, which YHWH made between him,and the children of Israel in mount Sinai, by the hand of Moses.

Chapter 27

27:1Moreover YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
27:2Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, If any man shall make a vow of a nephesh to YHWH, by your estimation,
27:3Then your estimation shall be thus:a male from twenty year old to sixty year old shall be by your estimation even fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the Sanctuary.
27:4But if it be a female, then your valuation shall be thirty shekels.
27:5And from five year old to twenty year old your valuation shall be for the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.
27:6But from a month old to five year old, your price of the male shall be five shekels of silver, and your price of the female, three shekels of silver.
27:7And from sixty year old and above, if he be a male, then your price shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.
27:8But if he be poorer than you have esteemed him, then shall he present himself before the Priest, and the Priest shall value him, according to the ability of him that vowed, so shall the Priest value him.
27:9And if it be a beast, of which men bring an offering to YHWH, all that one gives of such to YHWH, shall be holy.
27:10He shall not alter it nor change it, a good for a bad, nor a bad for a good:and if he change beast for beast, then both this and that, which was changed for it, shall be holy.
27:11And if it be any unclean beast, of which men do not offer a sacrifice to YHWH, he shall then present the beast before the Priest.
27:12And the Priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad:and as you value it, which are the Priest, so shall it be.
27:13But if he will buy it again, then he shall give the fifth part of it more, above your valuation.
27:14Also when a man shall dedicate his house to be holy to YHWH, then the Priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad,and as the Priest shall priest it, so shall the value be.
27:15But if he that sanctified it, will redeem his house, then he shall give thereto the fifth part of money more than your estimation, and it shall be his.
27:16If also a man dedicate to YHWH any ground of his inheritance, then shall you esteem it according to the seed of it:an Homer of barley seed shall be at fifty shekels of silver.
27:17If he dedicate his field immediately from the year of Jubilee, it shall be worth as you do esteem it.
27:18But if he dedicate his field after the Jubilee, then the Priest shall reckon him the money according to the years that remain to the year of Jubilee, and it shall be abated by your estimation.
27:19And if he that dedicates it, will redeem the field, then he shall put the fifth part of the price, that you esteemed it at, thereto, and it shall remain his.
27:20And if he will not redeem the field, but the Priest sell the field to another man, it shall be redeemed no more.
27:21But the field shall be holy to YHWH, when it goes out in the Jubilee, as a field separate from common uses: the possession of it shall be the Priests.
27:22If a man also dedicate to YHWH a field which he has bought, which is not of the groud of his inheritance,
27:23Then the Priest shall set the price to him, as you esteem it, to the year of Jubilee, and he shall give your price the same day, as a thing holy to YHWH.
27:24But in the year of Jubilee, the field shall return to him, of whom it was bought:to him, I say, whose inheritance the land was.
27:25And all your valuation shall be according to the shekel of the Sanctuary:a shekel contains twenty gerahs.
27:26Notwithstanding the firstborn of the beasts, because it is YHWH's firstborn, none shall dedicate such, be it bullock, or sheep;for it is YHWH's.
27:27But if it be an unclean beast, then he shall redeem it by your valuation, and give the fifth part more thereto:and if it be not redeemed, then it shall be sold, according to your estimation.
27:28Notwithstanding, nothing separate from the common use that a man does separate to YHWH of all that he has (whether it be man or beast, or land of his inheritance) may be sold nor redeemed:for everything separate from the common use is most holy to YHWH.
27:29Nothing separate from the common use, which shall be separate from man, shall be redeemed, but die the death.
27:30Also all the tithe of the land both of the seed of the ground, and of the fruit of the trees is YHWH's:it is holy to YHWH.
27:31But if a man will redeem any of his tithe, he shall add the fifth part thereto.
27:32And every tithe of bullock, and of sheep, and of all that goes under the rod, the tenth shall be holy to YHWH.
27:33He shall not look if it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: else if he change it, both it, and the exchange of it, shall be holy, and it shall not be redeemed.
27:34These are the commandments which YHWH commanded by Moses to the children of Israel in mount Sinai.
